NEW ZEALAND. [Per Times Special Wire.] Early in the Field. Carterton, August 4. It is authentically reported that Mr W. C. Buchanan will be a candidate for Wairarapa seat at the general election. A Paper Mill for Timaru. Dunedin, Aug. 4. The “ Star" states that Mr A. J. Burns intends to start the manufacture of printing paper at Timaru. He goes Home to procure the necessary machines.
