[Reuter’s Agency.] H-M-S- Bacchante, Melbourne July 19. Her Majesty’s ship Bacchante will complete her repairs next week, and will then sail direct for Fiji to rejoin the Detached Squadron. Stamping it OutSydney, July 19. No fresh cases of smallpox have occurred in this city since and all patients in quarantine are progressing favorably towards recovery. The authorities, however, have in no wise relaxed their vigilance and are making every effort to prevent the spread of the infection and to stamp out the disease.
