The body of a manuknown, described as being thirty five to forty years of age, tall, with sandy heard and whiskers, was found on the banks of the Waihopai River, near Benhopai Station, yesterday afternoon. It is supposed that in attempting to cross he was washed down and drowned. DamagesDunedin, July 11. In the case M. Seaborn r. Wilson, the jury awarded £25 damages. Burglary. At the City Police Court, Eliza Whittel was committed for trial for attempted burglary.
