Chinese ImmigrationLondon, July 4.
In the House of Commons to-day, Sir Charles Dilke, Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, in reply to a question, said it was not intended by Government to take steps to modify the existing treaties with China, so as to enable the Australian Colonies to deal with the question of Chinese immigration.
