Melbourne, July 1. In the Legislative Assembly last night, the vote of want of in the Ministry was carried on a division by 41 to 38, excluding pairs. Messrs Mirams and Longmore voted with the Government, and Mr D. Guunson voted against them. A Cabinet Council Js summoned for to-day to consider the position. It is expected that Ministers will recommend the Governor to dissolve Parliament, but it is considered unlikely that His Excellency will accede to their request. At a Cabinet Council, held to-dny, it was decided by Ministers to recommend the Governor to grant a dissolution of Parliament, and the Hon Graham Berry will wait upon His Excellency tomorrow to tender such advice.
