Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Wednesday, June 22. For Australian Colonies perArawata, at 4 p.m. (will connecc with the P. and 0. steamer leaving Melbourne on July 5. Thursday, June 23. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, New South Wales, and Queensland, per Albion, at 6 a.m. Saturday, June 25. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka, at 2.50 p.m, (Signed) Ed. Cook, Chief Postmaster. Chief Post Office, Timaru, June 30, 1831.
