The s.s, Waitaki, made her usual Tuesday morning trip from Dnnedin to-day, she brought 310 bales of wool for transhipment to the ship Otago for Home, and about ten tons of general cargo. It seems a pity now that Timaru enjoys regular and efficient steam communication with Dunedin, that the steamers plying here are not better supported. At the present time, there are two sailing ships, the Waitohi, and Nspier at Port Chalmers having on board together some 700 tons of stuff for Timaru.
