Want of Con fidence. Melbourne, Jane 18.
The rumor circulated yesierday that a vote of want of confidence in the Government will be proposed in the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday next is fully confirmed this morning. It has further transpired that the motion will be introduced by Sir Bryan O’Logblen. It is uncertain what action will be taken by the Opposition members generally, but even if they support the motion, it is still expected that Ministers will have a small majority in their favor.
