In the House of Commons consideration of the Irish Land Bill in Committee was resumed on the 9th inst., after the Whitsuntide recess, and has continued at each days’s sitting since that date. The Algerine. Paris, June 13. Intelligence has been received from Algiers that an engagement has taken place between the French troops and a body of Algerian insurgents. The latter were totally defeated, with the loss of fifty killed.
