A fire in Graham street, at a house occupied by Mr Anderson, of the Metropolitan Hotel, did serious damage to a four-roomed wooden cottage owned by Mrs Shepherd. Another Blaze. Napier, June 1. _ The district school building at Kaikora was totally destryed by fire last night. It was insured for £4OO in the South British and the risk was divided between fourteen offices forming the Napier Insurance Association, which has taken over all the Board’s schools in the district.
