FPeb Times Special Wibe.l Sad SuicideAuckland, May 28. Capt. Wright, formerly consul at the Bay of Islands, suicided on Feb. 19 at Marshall Islands, shooting himself through the temple with a revolver. He had been in good health and spirits, and spoke cheerfully of going home to America. Wreck of ft Barque. The barque Hawaii, a labor vessel belonging to the Hawaiian Government, was wrecked at Tarawa, one of the KiugsWcll group. No lives were lost. Awkward Accident. Andrew Dillworth, a settler at Waiterekci, was thrown from his horse and had his nose completely smashed by the penetration of a stake. Hey I Presto! it is Gone. Haselmayer’s satchel, containing £2O, and jewellery, which was taken from the Theatre Royal last night, was recovered by the police an hour or two afterwards, from a woman who was at the Theatre, and who said that observing the satchel without an apparent owner, she took it to keep until claimed.
