In the House of Commons yesterday the Irish Land Bill was read a second time, and passed by a majority of 176., Parnell and the members of the extreme Irish party abstained from voting. At a banquet in ( the city yesterday evening the Marquis of Salisbury made a speech, in the course of which he referred to the Irish Land Bill in disparaging terms, and severely denounced the Irish policy of the Government.
