Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Wednesday, April 13. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Hawea, at 6 a.rn. For Australian Colonies perEotomahana, at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 14. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, New South Wales, and Queensland, per Bingarooma, at 6 a.rn. Saturday, April 16. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Penguin, at 2.50 p.m. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco, will close at Timaru on Saturday, April 23, and will be due at San Francisco, on Thursday, May 19, and at London on Tuesday, June 7,1881.
