Messrs George Priest and Co, auctioneers have removed into new central premises in Turnbnll’s buildings, opposite the Club Hotel, where they will hold their first auction sale on Saturday. The s.s. Grafton sails for Lyttelton, Wellington, Nelson, and the West Coast tomorrow. Messrs W. Collins and Co., of the Old Post Office auction rooms, in addition to their weekly sale of produce, &c., on Saturday will submit a large quantity of furniture, carpets, books, glass, and tinware, crockery, and grocercies to the hammer. The second numbers of the New Zealand Protestant has been.issued and may be had from the local agents.
