GREAT FIRE AT FEATHERSTONE.
[By Telegraph.] ' FeatHerstone, March 24. A fire broke out at Faber’s Club-Hotel at 11 a.m., and the premises were destroyed. ‘A corner block across the street also'caught fire, and Toogood’s store and J-. Neill’s painter's outbuildings, &c., are all.destroyed. The total damage, is. about,' £BOOO. The origin of the fire is believed to be a faulty chimney in the Club Hotel, The insurances on the hotel, stock, and building are £3OOO, and are divided among the following offices :—National, United, Colonial, Union, South British, and Standard, but the individual amounts are not at present known. '
