[Br Cable.] Melbourne, March 19. The cricket match between the Australian Eleven and fifteen of Victoria was resumed to-day. The fifteen were all disposed of in their second innings for 296 runs, M’Shane contributing 64, and Kelly and Allen 41 each. The Australians require to make 248 runs in their second innings to win the match. GERALDINE Y. ASHBURTON. A match between elevens of the above Clubs took place at Geraldine,on Saturday. The visitors suffered a severe defeat. ‘ The top score for Ashburton was made by Andrews, who secured 21, nob out, in the second innings. For Geraldine, Bethune scored 27, Grant, 21, and Empson, 18.
