The following are the principal creditors: — Secured: N. Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency, £34,211 ; A. D. Brandon, £1,020; Hornby and Son, Lincolnshire, £748 ; McEwan and Co.,London, £689; Crossman Bros., New York £1,369. Partly secured—Bank of New Zealand, £53,192 ; Heep Bros., Birmingham, £41,730 ; Trustees of Bennett’s estate, £I6OO. Unsecured ;—Bank of New Zealand, £12,320 ; Andrews and Anderson, Christchurch, £1025 ; Levien and Co, Wellington. £1468 ; Krull and Co, Wellington, £658; Thompson, Shannon and Co, Wellington, £784 ; Thompson, Sterne and Co, Glasgow, £456 ; Turnbull and Co, Wellington, £437; Brandon and son, Wellington, £3OO. Their are numerous other creditors of small amounts. The assets are set down at £197,428 ; as follows Landed property, £16,763 ; household property, warehouse, &c., £55,343; shares in various company’s £2335; stock, £50,500 ; book debts, good, £55,400; bad, £300; bills receivable, contract deposits and cash, £9973.
