MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Wednesday, Feb. 2. For Australian Colonies, per Tararua, at 4 p.m. The Stella will be despatched fiom the Bluff for the West Coast Sounds about the middle of February, Mails will close at Timaru for all Post Ollices at the Sounds on or about Feb 12. The next mail for the United Kingdom via Brindisi will close at Timaru on Tuesday, Feb 8, and will be due in London on March 31. (Signed) W. W.
