Yacht Race. The Dove,of Lyttelton ... 1 Open Boats Sailing Race. Prosperous 1 Dauntless ... 2 Blanche 3 The Blanche came in almost level with the Dauntless. Pair-oared Race, in stump outriggers.

Kaiapoi 1 Christchurch Rowing Club 2 Lyttelton 3

Dourle Sculling Race. Christchurch Rowing Club 1 Kaiapoi 2 Union Rowing Club ... 3 This was a grand race, the Christchurch Club winning by two feet. The canoe race was splendidly contested by Jones, of Christchurch, and Bradley, of Timaru, the result being a dead heat.

Owing to the weather, the four-oared inrigger and outrigger races could not come off.
