For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Penguin, at 2.50 p.m. Monday, Dec 81. For Chatham Islands, per Omaha, at 4 p.m. Tiie next mall tor tnc United Kingdom via San Francisco, will close at the Chief Post Office, Timaru, on* Friday, Dec. 31, and will be due in London, on Jan. 13, 1881. ; The Railway Travelling Post Office will be available for late fee letters on Saturday, Jan 1, as usual.
