AN IMPUDENT SHARK.
The workmen on the breakwater were regaled with a shark hunt this morning. V shark about six feet in length and is thick as a draught horse made his appearance at the outer end of the breakwater. Several fishermen and others approached as near the edge of »f the water as possible intent on his capture, while the shark, in no way disconcerted, did his best torubnosis with them, and for a time absolutely hugged the concrete blocks. Failing to secure an officer of the Ilafbor Board he swallowed a few dead blow fish that were floating on the top, but evidently deemed them unpalatable for he speediy disgorged them again. The hooks, rakes and other apparatus attached to the crane were freely used, but the shark and his wonld-be capturers were unable to come to terms, and they finally parted company mutually disgusted. This is the first big shark of the season that has visited Titnnru, and it is conjectured that he was looking for some of Messrs Goodall and Hamilton’s day labor men.
