An adjourned meeting of die Hoard was liekl to-day. An application from the Town Clerk, Tiinarn, for £25, part cost of culvert on West town holt, was referred to the overseer. An application from J. A. Daly for formation on reserve 120 ( .) was not entertained. That of E. H. Tate and others was referred hack to applicants, as the road referred to is in the borough. It was decided to improve the road leading toTotara Valley. The mein hers appointed to inspect the road required through Priest’s land reported that they had agreed with the owner to fence in the road line and convey to him the road between 105(!0 and 12750, the Hoard receiving the land required for a road free of cost. The following tenders were accepted :—Xo. 51, J. Morgan, £1!) IGs ; Xo. 33, J, Kane, £l3 3s 4d ; Xo. 34, (!. Crosier, £5. A number of accounts were passed, and the meeting adjourned.
