[By Cable]. THE AUSTRALIANS AT HOME. London, Sept. 11. The cricket match, Australians versus Eighteen of the Clydesdale Club, was resumed to-day at Glasgow. The Homo team continued their first innings, but were not disposed of till they bad scored 224. The Australians then went in to the wickets, but only succeeded in putting together 111. Being 113 runs behind their opponents, they bad to follow on, iind in their second innings, when time was called, had lost one wicket for 47 runs. The match was therefore drawn in favor of the Glasgow team. The weather was showery during both days’ play. AUSTRALIANS v. ALL ENGLAND. London, Sept. 7. The match between the Australians and Eleven or All England was witnessed by 30,000 people. Spofforth did not play in consequence of one of his lingers getting broken in the match against Eighteen of Scarborough. On the second da}' the match was- resumed, but owing to the rain overnight the wicket was dead, and the remaining English were soon disposed of, their first innings terminating for a total of 420 runs.
