HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES In the House, on Saturday evening. Mr Pykc explained Unit when lie refused to sit down, lie was addressing certain noisy members and not the acting Chairman of Committees.
The House went into Committee on the Supplementary Estimates, and the items £22,000 for purchase of railway waggons, and £75,000 for the unemployed were passed. A message was received from the Governor announcing that the Deceased Wifi's Sister Marriage Bill had been reserved for the assent, of her Majesty. The, Property Assessment Amendment Bill (No. 2), providing only for a simplified schedule, was introduced and passed through all its stages. The House then adjourned. THIS DAY. [By Telegraph.] The House met to-dav (Monday) at 11. Amendments made by m essage in the Financial Arrangements Act and the Public Works Bill were agreed to. 5 [Sir George Grey tabled, a long scries of resolutions about the Patetere block which are being discussed on tho motion for adjournment.
