MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office Tiniaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Tuesday, August 24. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Taiaroa, at G a.m. Wednesday, August 25. For the United Kingdom, via Brindisi, the Australian Colonies, India, China, Africa, the Continent of Europe, and the Mediterranean Ports, as follows : letters at 8 p.m. Registered letters and money orders at 2 p.m. Late fee letters at the Chief Post Ollice only till 4 p.m. Correspondence intended to be forwarded by the above routes must be specially addressed. The rate of postage for letters for the the United Kingdom via Brindisi, is eight pence per half ounce. The European portion of the above mails will be due in Loudon on October 1(3. Thursday, August 20. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Tararua, at G a.m. Saturday, August 28 For Northern Ports of New Zealand per Hawea, at 2.45 p.m. (Signed) W. W.
