To-night’s "Post” says, “It is believed To Whiti is acting on private information received from Wellington (the sources being vehemently suspected, although it would not he judicious even to hint at its direction) to the direct that Government have spent nearly all their money, and, therefore,.if he continues his present plan of action he must he victorious in the end. lamin a position to state positively and on authority, that the Government has for a considerable time past been extremely suspicious of a certain person. The existence of direct constant communication between spies in Wellington and Parihaka is perfectly well known,-hut it would probably he dillicult to absolutely prove iu a Court of law, unless loiters could be intercepted, and the handwriting positively identified.”
