WAIMATE R. M. COURT.
(Before 11. Bcclhara, Esq., IhM -, the Mayor, and Mr Steward, J.P.) AI.LKGKD ASSAULT. Healing v. Good son. ' The complainant, who is a ponndIcccper, deposed that he was driving past Goodson’s on Sunday, when the latter threw a brickbat after him which struck his horse. This statement was corroborated by Healing, iunr.,but emphatically denied by defendant, and several witnesses, who stated that Goodson was in bed at the time. Case dismissed. Shanks v Morton —Claim for ahorse. Mr Hamcr.dey for plaintiff, and Mr Clement for defendant. After a considerable amount of conflicting evidence liad been taken, judgment was given for the return of the horse, in default defendant to pay £37 and costs. Several civil cases were disposed of, and lire Court adjourned.
