THE EDUCATION VOTE.
A circular has been addressed by the Chairman of the Education Board to the various School Committees enclosing a copy of a telegram received from the Hon. Win. Bnlleston, Minister of Education winch announces the reduction made by the House of lioprescntativcs in the education vote, and suggests that the reduction of 10s per cent, resolved upon in connection with the Civil Service should he made to apply to the salaries and wages paid by the education department.
