The former continued their innings, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had lost six wickets for 229 runs. Groubc was caught after making 01 runs. Spofforth was also caught after putting together ■ll runs. Plackham is not out for 12. Owing to the inclemency of the weather on the following day, play was stopped, and the match was drawn in favor of the Australians.
