Writs have been served on Mr Mcllwraith, Premier, the Colonial Treasurer, and on Mr Palmer, Colonial Secret aiy, for £BOOO each, for sitting in the Legislative Assembly, while, as alleged, they were disqualified from doing so. In the Assembly last night, a Committee was appointed to enquire into the petition of Mr Hcumian, making allegations against the conduct of the Queensland Government business in London, and implicating Mr Mcllwraitb, the Premier, and Mr Palmer the Colonial Secret ary.
