It is announced that Colonel Gordon Gordon (who has left for China) has been invited by the Chinese Government, in view of the difficulty with Russia. There is considerable agitation in Turkestan, and llussians are reported to bo marching into Kashgar.

A long and animated debate took place relating to IM. Lancour, tbc new French Ambassador. Air O’Donnell attacked his antecedents, and the Hight lion. Mr Gladstone moved that he be not heard. The motion was ultimately withdrawn.
