Acclimatisation Society it was resolved to increase the bonus for killing shags from threepence to a shilling; to petition Parliament for a general license in the Colony; to impose a gun tax of ten shillings ; also on account of the rabbit pest to recommend and encourage the introduction of weasels, foxes, and stoats.
