MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Thnaru for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Saturday, April 17. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Tararua, at 2.45 p.m. The next mail for the United Kingdom ▼ia San Francisco, will be despatched from Thnaru on Saturday, April 24, and will be due in London on June 8. On and after Thursday, April 15, the following alterations will be made in the despatch and receipt of local mails : Mails close at Timaru— For Christchurch and intermediate offices, daily at 6 a.m., 2.45 p.m., and 4.25 p.m. , Dunedin and intermediate offices, daily at 12.45 p.m,, and 4 p.m. For Oamaru and intermediate offices, daily at 6 a.m. Pleasant Point, Cave, and Albury, daily at 6 a.m., and Pleasant Point and Albury, at 3 p.m. Mackenzie Country, Mondays, Wednesand Fridays, at 6 a.m. Mails arrive at Timaru— From Christchurch and intermediate offices daily at 1.20 a.m., 1 p.m., and 8.15 p.m. „ Dunedin and intermediate offices, daily at 10.45 a.m., and 3 p.m. „ Oamaru and intermediate offices, daily at 7.45 p.m. „ Pleasant Point, Albury, and Washdyke, daily at 11.5 a.m. „ Pleasant Point, Cave, and Albury, daily at 7.50 p.m. „ Mackenzie Country, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, at 7.50 p.m. (Signed) Sydney E.
