Dunedin, April 15. The new crop is coming forward freely and a considerable business is being done by millers and shippers. Fine milling wheat is worth 4s to 4s Id, and choice samples realise 4s 3d to 4s Id; fowls’ feed, 3a to 3s to 3s sd. Oats are almost unsaleable; Is 3d to Is 4d for feed, and Is od for milling are the prevailing rates for new; old fetch Is Gd to Is 7d. Barley nominal; malting, 3a 6d to 8s 9d; milling, 2s 9d to 3s. MELBOURNE PRODUCE MARKET. , Messrs J. H. Clough and Co. report, under date April 7. Wheat may be quoted as follows : Smutty and' inferior, 3s Id to 4s 2£d ; medium to good, 4s 3.jd to 4a 6d; shipping lots up to 4s Bd. Up to 4s lOd was obtained for an exceptionally fine lot of seed wheat. Barley is still without animation ; sales hare been made from 3s lOd to 4s Gd, and up to 4s lid for prime malting. Oats are not much in demand ; medium, from Is 9d to 2s Old; good feeding, 2s lsd to 2s 3d; and prime from 2s 4d to 2s GJd. Adelaide, April 14. Wheat in Adelaide is at 4s od; at outports, 4s 3d. Melbourne, April 14. New Zealand oats arc slow of sale at 2s 3d. Sugar at auction has realised £1 per ton higher.
