April 14.—1 tis stated here that Messrs Money Wigram’s steamship Norfolk will on her next trip from England go direct to Lyttelton and Wellington, Exhibition Awards. The Wakatipu Accident. Mr A. R. Stevens, who Avas injured some time ago onboard the Wakatipu, is noAv improving. NEW ZEALAND. [Per “Times” Special Wire.] Compensation Case. ■Wellington, April 15.—At the Supremo Court the jury gave a verdict for plaintiff for £75 in the case of Mullin v. O’Malley, the plaintiff to pay costs. Accident. A man named Joseph Limine bad bis leg broken yesterday by a fall of earth, at Kent Terrace drain. Dunedin Murder Trial. Dunedin, April 15. —Butler’s case is being taken in the presence of a crowded Court. The prisoner Avho is undefended, exorcised the full right of challenge. The Crown challenged two jurors.
