Dunedin; April 13. —In flic divorce suit Ferguson v. - Prcnderville, the jury answered all issues in Favor of the petitioner. - The respondent and co-res-pondent were unrepresented. The jury before the evidence was exhausted intimated that they were satisfied that the plaintiff had made out' Ids case. Ferguson is a gaol warder, and Prcuderville was up till lately a police officer. A Disputed Will. Christchurch, April 15. —The case of Morris v. Shayler connected with the drawing up of a will which was to be tried in the Supreme Court this morning was withdrawn by mutual consent. ' The hotel lease of tbc City Hotel for ! 21 years, was taken yesterday by Mr E. "Cooksou of the Commercial Hotel, >vho will conduct it himself.
