Mr Stephens, mate of the steamer Wakatipu, has been seriousty injured whilst engaged unloading the vessel. Successful Exhibitors. Sydney, March 12. First prizes have been awarded to Kaiapoi and Mosgiel for flannels ; for blankets Mosgiel has obtained second prize, and Kaiapoi third; in tweeds Mosgiel first and Kaiapoi third prize ; in woollen fabrics Mosgiel obtained second prize ; mats, Cook, Wellington; cord rope, Bevan, Waikawa; woolwork, Lawless, of the Thames; counterpanes and tablecloths, Jordan, Dunedin: all of whom obtained third prizes.
