Twenty-one horses have paid up for the Australian Cup. Suwarrow is the favorite, at 100 to 16. Secundus, Sweetmeat and Carriwcll are faily supported. The Italian Consulate. Cavalinc Goyzueta, a resident of Melbourne, has been appointed Italian Consul for Australia, with jurisdiction in Hew Zealand and Fiji.
