[TO THU EDITOR.] Sir, — I notice in your issue of yesterday’s date, re report of the High School that his Worship has tabled a notice of motion in favor of reducing the Standard for admittance to the High School. Sir, I trust you and others able to do so will take this matter up or the High School will soon be a nursery School for those who can afford to pay the charges, and not as I imagined, to receive pupils after passing the Standard required in the present public schools.
