[Reuter's Agency.] Spoiling a Hop. Adelaide, Jan. 20.—At a ball last night on board the barque Excelsior, lying in port, the crew made an unprovoked attack on the officers, who had engaged in the festivities. They used belaying pins, marlinespikes, and revolvers. The mate was iired at but the shot missed. All the other officers were wounded more or less severely in the head. The captain received serious blows on the right temple. After a great struggle the mutineers were arrested, and at the Police Court to-day seven of them were sentenced' to twelve weeks’ imprisonment.
