(“Times” Special Wire. GREYMOUTH. Dec. 8. The rush to the Seventeen Milo Beach continues in spite of unfavorable weather, and the minors speak well of their prospects. A very rich reef was struck on Saturday in the New River tunnel. LYELL, Dec. 8. The sluicing claims at Nelson Creek, opened by Hoehstetter, are yielding splendidly. One claim for the last eight months, has averaged, lOOozs. of retorted gold per month, among four men.
