[Peu “ Times” Special Wibb.] AUCKLAND, Dec. 4 Earnest efforts arc being made from Auckland to get the New South Wales authorities to make an enquiry into the sanity of Andrew George Scott, alias Captain Moonlight. He was once in an asylum. The Hot. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 4. It is reported in town that the ship Huruuui passed Moeraki this morning. The barque Lochflcet was sighted off Chaseland’s Mistake by the Tararua on Tuesday morning.
