Hennessy’s brandy, case, 355; quarter-casks, 10s; Devoc’s kerosene, Is Bd| per gallon; New Zealand wheat, none in the market; New Zealand oats, 2s 3d to 2s 6d per bushel; candles, D.E.P., B£d to 9d per lb. A Sunday school teacher has been committed for trial for assault on a pupil. Melbourne, Nov. 7. There is great excitement in political circles in consequence of the “Age” categorically demanding the substitution of Messrs Munro, Casey, and Dow, for Messrs Lalor, Woods, and Longmore, in the Ministry. Mr Berry has refused.
