A recdv ! ngb>x has been erected at Halls, ■tore corners of North and Bank streets which will be cleared at 8.30 aim. and 3.45 p.m. The receiving box at Cornish’s store -e met of William street, and ihe Main South Road will in future be cleared at 8 •.rn.and3.3op.nl N.B. receiving boxes are for the receipt of letters only for Timaru. N.B. — As Monday 10th November . (Prince of Wales Birthday) will be observe das a Post office holiday, all mails usually despatched on Mondays will close utthe Chief offi;e on Saturday the Bth iurt at 8 o.m. The delivery department will be open to the public, and correspondence usually delivered by the letter carriers may also • be obtained at the delivery counter, Chief Post Office, from 8 to 9 p.m., on Saturday, the Bth November.
