Cattle—Baye-s of store cattle are still reluctant to speculate at anything like , favorable prices to the seders. On Thursday they sold at toe t-outh Canterbury Yards a number of steers at £3 17s6d per head, and 37s 6d was obtained for a email lot of yearlings, and 27s for calves, Thursday they will offer, on account of ■everal owners, about 80 bead of good quiet >cattle, sale to take place at the t-outh Canterbury Yards. Fa; cattle are somewhat down in price since our last report, 26s per 100 lbs being about their present Value. They have no sales of importance to report. Sheep—There is little doing in store sheep at present, but they expect a considerable business in this line as soon as sh-arii g is over. Fat sheep aie now p.entifu 1 , owing to the abundant feed, and may be quoted at 2d per lb, Property—The sale of the Seadown estate was held in their rooms on Thursday last, and attracted a large amount of notice, their saleroom being crowded to excess with persons interested in this property. Mr J.
