The biggest field (56) for the season turned out yesterday for the men's firstround club champ qualifying. There was, as usual, some exceptional golf and some not so good. Scores are gross plus nett. Junior Men: 1st S Dowman 88, nett 69; 2nd P Cleary 101, nett 70; 3rd S Sue 93, nett 72; 4th J Whale and one Junior Birdsnest 90, nett 73; 5 th D Corson 94, nett 73; 6th P Beckett 93, nett 74.
