Northern Rangitikei primary school reps
After the Northern Area Trials held at Taihape on Thursday 3 July the following players were selected to play in the final trial at Taihape to select the Rangitikei Representative Team at the Annual Quadrangular Tournament to be held in Palmerston North over 5, 6 and 7 September 1997. Waiouru Primary - Zac Lawrence, David Kidd, Jermaine Toki, Nathan Taikato; Raetihi Primary - Rangi Rapana, Fraser Hammond; Ohakune Primary - Tod Anderson, Riwaru Tihema, Joesph Grant; Taihape Primary - Jonathan Maxwell, Bradley Raukawa, Jamie Lewis, Jeremy Carnegie, Jason Bolton; St Josephs Taihape - Glen Gregory, Phillip Harrison, Kyle Harrison, Mark Howard, Teddy Kavanagh. The trial will be held at the Taihape Recreation Ground on Wednesday 23 July at 10am. Players should have warm clothing and lunch. . EDITOR'S NOTE: There was no mention on this report as to what sport they refer to, but we think school-boy rugby is a safe bet!
