capital costs of the scheme not funded by way of lump sum contributions and is payable in respect of properties in the Rangataua Township for which no such lump sum contribution was paid. 6.2 Sewerage Rate (Section 16 of the Act) A Separate Sewerage Rate of zero point zero two five six (0.0256) cents in the dollar on the land value on every separately rateable property situated within the National Park Township and benefiting from the National Park sewerage reticulation system. The Group 1 Sewerage Charge to be levied in respect of each additional water closet or urinal. This scale of charges to apply in respect of the second and each additional water closet or urinal up to a maximum of five in total. The Group 2 Sewerage Charge to be levied in respect of sixth to the twentieth water closet or urinal. The Group 3 Sewerage Charge to be levied in respect of the twenty first and every additional water closet or urinal. Revenue Required $000 $31.4 8.0 DUE DATES (Section 1 1 0 of the Act) All rates and charges shall become due and payable in three instalments as set out below: Due Date 1st Instalment 12 September 1997 2nd Instalment 16 January 1998 3rd Instalment 15 May 1998 9.0 DISCOUNT FOR PROMPT PAYMENT OF RATES (Section 131 of the Act) A discount of 3% on all the current years rates, will be granted for prompt payment, if the rates are paid in full by 12 September 1997, for the year ending 30 June 1998, on condition that no rates remain unpaid from previous years. 10.0 ADDITIONAL CHARGES (Section 132 of the Act) Additional charges will be added to all unpaid rates due to the Council as set out below: An additional charge of 1 0% to be added to rates levied in the 1997/98 financial year and which remain unpaid after the following dates: 1st Instalment 17 September 1997 2nd Instalment 21 January 1998 3rd Instalment 20 May 1998 A further additional charge of 1 0% to be added to rates which have been levied in any previous financial year and which remain unpaid on 1 January 1998.
