House a winner
An Ohakune house has won the House of the Year award for its category in the New Zealand Master Builders Federation Wanganui regional competitions. Alan ad Karen Murdie's house, built by Peter Richards Builders Ltd, won the $220,000 to $300,000 Category-Four award, as well as an award recognising its outstanding kitchen and bathroom. The awards were presented at a special evening in Wanganui on Friday. .
