Alysha Hagley, Krystal Simpson and Alice Mazengarb are pictured with their greeting card production line which is part of the Ohakune Primary School technology curriculum which the whole school is involved in. The programme was put together with the help of Sheilagh Jolley, co-ordinator from the Palmerston North College of Education. Teacher Ruth Jackson said the children had to design their card, using a New Zealand icon as a theme. They then had to make a prototype, then plan the production ensuring enough materials were available. Then they had to produce six identical cards.
